What sets us apart
Chai deserves better than a tea bag. We brew it right.
Most chai is dust-grade powder boiled with stale milk. Ours is whole Assam leaves, freshly crushed spices, and full-cream milk — brewed slow, the way nani made it.

The chai problem
Why most chai tastes forgettable.
Dust-grade tea powder
Most chai shops use the cheapest CTC dust — bitter, flat, and stripped of any real character.
Stale spice premixes
Pre-ground masala that lost its soul months ago. No aroma, no warmth, just colour in the cup.
Diluted, over-boiled milk
Watered-down milk boiled till it scorches. Hides bad tea behind burnt notes instead of celebrating it.
We don't do any of that. Ever.

A note from the founder
I grew up on chai
from the corner tapri.
Nothing else compared.
Every evening it was the same stall, the same crushed cardamom, the same long simmer over the flame. That cutting chai wasn't just tea — it was where the day slowed down.
When I moved to Adelaide, I couldn't find a single place that brewed it that way. So I started Chai Sutta. Whole spices, real Assam leaves, full-cream milk — brewed slow, served warm, like home.
A pause between two long hours.
The slow letter
No spam. No hype. Just good chai mail.
